Welcome to our Summer Tablescape Blog Hop! I’m excited to team up with some other amazing bloggers to share ideas for your summer parties. We entertain a ton in the summer, from casual summer get-togethers to birthday parties and more.
You saw a sneak peek of our new dining set a few weeks’ ago, and this time it got a Mediterranean meets farmhouse makeover. I was recently reminiscing about a trip to Greece I took with some girlfriends in our early 20s (feels like forever ago!), where there was lots of blue, whitewashed buildings and geraniums. While it’s not Santorini, I had a ton of fun creating this Mediterranean inspired tablescape and thinking about the memories of that trip.

To create the look of the Adriatic, I used lots of blue, hot pink and white. I wanted to use some bright pink geraniums, but alas, after going to several nurseries, I came up short. Instead, I found some pretty pink carnations, which fit in nicely. The pot in the middle is a New Guinea impatient. For summer tablescapes, I like to use a mix of both potted and vase flowers.
The bright blue vases are recent flea market finds (you’ll see them again for 4th of July). The white pot is local, from Pike Nurseries (can I get a high-five for rewards dollars??).
The plates are from Tuesday Morning, and you’ve seen them before, along with the blue herringbone table runner and plastic wine glasses from Williams Sonoma Outlet. I try to use what I have in different ways, rather than buying new stuff all the time. The napkins and napkin rings were wedding presents, I think from Crate and Barrel. I picked out mostly the blues and pinks to go with the tablescape, but I have at least 8 (and maybe 12) in all different colors.
These pillows are the same ones you saw in the One Room Challenge Spring 2017 reveal. They aren’t outdoor, but they reminded me so much of the ocean and waves, I brought them out here for the afternoon.
With the current deck set-up, there’s no room for a bar cart. Instead, I brought out a white tray and filled it with a few goodies for a hot summer day.

I spy all of my favorite colors in your beautiful tablescape. Your bright blue vases are gorgeous – what a find – and I’m loving the napkin rings. I have a thing for napkin rings. Everything is beautiful and it does take me away to the Mediterranean. I have been to the Mediterranean Sea but I’ve never been to Greece. It’s on my bucket list!

Thank you Alli! I totally have a thing for napkin rings too – so fun to have variety!

Right off the bat, I was drawn to the navy blue and the bright pink. It all says Mediterranean to me. Your attention to detail is lovely and inspiring. Thanks for giving me a taste of Greece today. I keep telling my husband-“Greece is calling me there.” After seeing your tablescape, I think I need to bug him a little more. So beautiful, Jenn.

Oh my goodness. This tablescape is just perfect. I love your set up. I could sit there all day. Where did you find those fabulous round placemats?
Loveland Lodge says
Thank you so much Sue! The placemats are Bali from Crate & Barrel (https://www.crateandbarrel.com/bali-dark-placemat/s279625?st=bali). They aren’t technically outdoor, but I did accidentally leave 2 out in the rain and they survived!

I love the contrasting blue and pink colors – it’s so fun and feels like summer! I went to Athens during my study abroad trip in college and there is something so charming about the history and culture! 🙂 Thanks for joining in on the blog hop!
Best,
Kelly
